Imported Berseem

  • Variety: AKT - 51

  • Fast-growing variety attains plant height of about 75 cm at the flower initiation stage.

  • On an average, gives 200 - 240 quintals green fodder

  • About, 40 - 50 quintals dry matter yield per acre in about five cuttings.

  • Contains around 20 % crude protein on dry matter basis at the early flowering stage.
